Hello from Jeanne

Hi everyone,
I'm really glad that we have our L'Gang up and running! I'm not a big computer person as you all know, but I will try to update and check this out occasionally. Make sure to pass the link on to those that may not have it! (Lisa, Lila, Justin, Katie, Carly, Jenna etc. etc.) I had a great time at Carol's party; we missed Mary Jo and Nancy! I'll post some pictures soon (as soon as Kristen teaches me how). We're having a great time with Mom and Dad.

Love to all,

Jeanne

English version

The polymer won't dissolve in water unless some of the molecules are partially neutralized. That apparatus stirs and heats in a chemical to do the job. I then mix it with some pigment and a few other things and you get an ink! :)

from those who suffer from betsapenia

Kristen, we the people in labor and delivery do not understand Greek!!!!!! Could there possibly be a simple English version?? rofl Aunt Mj

Definition

For those in labor and delivery!

Resin

Noun:

1. Any of a class of nonvolatile, solid or semisolid organic substances, as copal or mastic, that consist of amorphous mixtures of carboxylic acids and are obtained directly from certain plants as exudations or prepared by polymerization of simple molecules: used in medicine and in the making of varnishes and plastics.

I'm taking a resin that was sythesized out of various monomers and "cutting" it by partially neutralizing it with ammonia in order to make it just soluble in water enough to disperse and then it's used in inks and other things to prevent agglomeration of the pigment particles.

RESIN

all of us here in labor and delivery would like to know what a resin is rofl Mare

Off to work

this is Hans trying to get out of our driveway two days ago. He ended up walking his bike to the end of the road before he could actually ride it!!

Here is Hans in his snowsuit

Also used as rain pants in spring
Hey Nan, did you sent a picture with that post?? Would love to see Hans in his snowsuit rofl Mare

This is our winter this year

Just wanted to share what we have been blessed with this year, twice already! No sledding for me, though. Just watching Hans try to bike in it. He looked like a five year old putting on snow pants the other morning getting ready to bike to work...
